The back light is nice and bright and comes in handy when i BBQ at night.Only negative is that it is bulky and will not fit in the side pocket of my chef's jacket, so i cannot use it at work. The probe is long and slim and leaves a small puncture hole which is another positive. You lose plenty of heat from the oven or grill while you wait for the temperature to be read. The controls are also a bit confusing and it's kind of hard to turn off. One positive thing is the blue lighting. It makes it easy to see during night time grilling. I wish the $100 Thermapen had that feature - it should, considering the price. |
